Project Background
Zhuhai Inbor Electric Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise specializing in new energy vehicle drive systems, located in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province. Precision manufacturing of new energy equipment requires extremely high purity production water for processes such as cleaning and solution preparation, necessitating the use of ultrapure water.
Project Challenges
During the manufacturing of new energy equipment, ultrapure water with a resistivity greater than 18.2 MΩ·cm is required for cleaning electronic components and preparing solutions. Even trace impurities can compromise product performance and reliability. Additionally, safe and healthy drinking water must be provided to employees in both production workshops and office areas. The project requires the efficient layout of two water treatment systems within the limited factory space.
Solutions
Baiyuan Water Industry designed an ultrapure water system for InPower Electric featuring a three-stage deep purification process: secondary RO + EDI + nuclear-grade resin, ensuring stable product water resistivity above 18.2 MΩ. A direct drinking water system was also installed in the workshop using multi-stage filtration plus UV disinfection. The design maximizes space efficiency with a compact frame layout.
Use Device
Core equipment of the ultrapure water system includes: multimedia filters, activated carbon adsorbers, softeners, cartridge filters, high-pressure pumps and RO membrane modules (Stage 1 & Stage 2), EDI modules, nuclear-grade polishing resin tanks, terminal ultrafilters, and online resistivity monitors. The drinking water system comprises: PP sediment filters, activated carbon filters, RO membranes, and UV sterilization lamps.
